Fostering a supportive work atmosphere where employees feel comfortable disclosing their challenges is essential to supporting employees with external problems. Employees can effectively negotiate external concerns by being supported in communicating openly, offering resources for aid when needed, offering flexible work arrangements where feasible, and demonstrating empathy and understanding. Employers may create a supportive and caring work environment that is advantageous to the company and its employees by acting with care and support.
