Starting a business requires a lot as everyone knows, you definitely need capital, The trick is you have to use money, to make money, Right? But with the internet here now, you already have free capital, Think about it, the only reason you needed capital was to get a website, run some banner ads on streets or something, and probably build a small office.

But now, The internet is your office, I don't just mean the internet, but Social networks like Facebook, twitter and all that, But of course just doing that won't guarantee your success on the internet. You have to optimize your site or office which ever you want to call it, to generate traffic.

Here Are My Suggestions On Ways To Generate Traffic

1.
Use internet forums and communities to your advantage. The thing about forums and online communities is that you can target a specific group that matches your target demographic. You can talk about a variety of topics related to the specialization you represent or provide. Another significant benefit is that you will be aware of what you are getting yourself into and will be adequately prepared.

2. You can also use newsletters to your advantage, Am actually signed in to a couple newsletters and there are amazing, I Signed in for marketing and advertising niche newsletters Provide a catalog of your items as well as informative and amusing articles. More people will sign up for your email and suggest it to others if you make it very fascinating and entertaining. The more people that sign up for your newsletter, the more people will visit your site, resulting in increased traffic.

There are many forums and online communities where you can share your content. But do you think just because you have shared your content, traffic will begin to rush to your website or online business. Well, no. I will ask you one simple question. You are posting on forums, how often do you check the signature links of other users, or go to the profile of the user and check the link they have shared. Well, in my experience, it does not happen much. I closely monitor my traffic. After sharing links on over 50 forums, I received just 20 visits from these forums.

here is the thing, forums are different, completely.. and I think you're right, but just concerning some forums, not all of them, this forum to be exact, I have actually checked signatures, I have checked yours, because i like the way you write and all that, I have checked a bunch of other members but non seem to have anything there, so yes you're right but only for PPP websites, visit a completely normal forum where it's just value that there offer, bloggers are there digital marketers, everyone sharing value and if you're impressed by a users intellect, you simply check if you can connect with them even more on their blog or social network and things like that.

If you had experience with marketing in internet forums and online communities, you would have known how tiring and how unrewarding this marketing method is. Creating accounts on multiple platforms and dropping your links does not help, you will have to be very active in those communities to build the trust from the members and getting them to check your site and buy your product. Becoming active means, you are spending many hours every day. For instance reddit is a good platform, but in order to have the capability of sharing links you need to build your karma and this requires you to spend a lot of time.

I understand that forums are instrumental for seeking free and quality traffic via our websites or products we offer to other users in exchange for monetary value. We shouldn't just depend on the traffic we are going to get from forums alone in order to attract sales of our products, or simply building up our website traffic to implement Google ads or other Ads networks to earn revenue as visitors click on them genuinely. We can simply use social medias to promote our links, or products in order to drive traffic through it. Social media like Twitter, tik-tok, Facebook, Instagram etc, is an option to get free traffic too, if we aren't ready to buy Ads and promote our link to be featured in their social media site for users all round the world to see what we are offering. But in the other way round, to make something out of what we are dealing online, we simply have to spend to get what we want too, it's 50/50. We can just dwell on free traffic's alone, so, seeking to buy Facebook Ads, Twitter Ads etc, it's a tremendous option to grow our traffic in order to accomplish our wish.

Here’s a simple truth – you can’t get sales if you don’t drive traffic to your online store. Traffic is the lifeblood of any online store. Even brick and mortar stores rely on foot traffic to make sales. It’s the same thing online. Here’s how you can drive traffic to your online store, whether you have money for marketing or are still bootstrapping on a budget. Without traffic to your website, you won’t be able to sell anything. Also, keep in mind that quality traffic is key. There’s no point in attracting the wrong customers because they’re simply not going to buy what you have to sell. Personally, I would rather get 100 people to my online store and have 10 of them buy versus 1000 people and only 1 person buys what I have to sell

Ways to Increase Traffic to Your Website:

1. Advertise
This one is so obvious, we’re going to look at it first. Paid search, social media advertising, and display advertising (try our Smart Ads Creator!) are all excellent ways of attracting visitors, building your brand and getting your site in front of people. Adjust your paid strategies to suit your goals – do you just want more traffic, or are you looking to increase conversions, too? Each paid channel has its pros and cons, so think carefully about your objectives before you reach for your credit card.

2. Get Social
It’s not enough to produce great content and hope that people find it – you have to be proactive. One of the best ways to increase traffic to your website is to use social media channels to promote your content. Twitter is ideal for short, snappy (and tempting) links, whereas Google My Business posts can help your site show up in local search results. If you’re a B2C product company, you might find great traction with image-heavy social sites like Pinterest and Instagram. Here’s more advice on making the most of social media marketing.

3. Mix It Up
There is no magic formula for content marketing success, despite what some would have you believe. For this reason, vary the length and format of your content to make it as appealing as possible to different kinds of readers. Intersperse shorter, news-based blog posts with long-form content as well as video, infographics and data-driven pieces for maximum impact.

4. Write Irresistible Headlines
Headlines are one of the most important parts of your content. Without a compelling headline, even the most comprehensive blog post will go unread. Master the art of headline writing. For example, the writers at BuzzFeed and Upworthy often write upward of twenty different headlines before finally settling on the one that will drive the most traffic, so think carefully about your headline before you hit “publish
