By thinking about the needs of others, you can come up with ideas for products or services that can help them solve their problems. Instead of listening to people for business ideas or copying people's ideas to start a business, you need to first make a list of things you are very much interested on. Once your have 5-10 interest, start checking whether you have knowledge, skills and experiences in these areas. Once you have chosen the idea based on your expertise, start doing research. Your research should be focused on on two simple things, is there a demand, is there a competition. If there is demand but not much competition, you are ready to take off, if not go back and do it again. If you go to google or youtube looking for idea, you might find a lot of ideas, but you might not be very successful in these niches.
