How to fine-tune a Brand positioning

Having a brand is one thing but having it position for success is another. There's always need for periodical adjustment to enable one fine-tune a brand positioning.to he sure it still aligns with the core values of the brand to continue to bring success to the brand.

So how can one fine-tune a brand positioning to still bring more success.

Always check your brand’s vision and roadmap for the future. You need to be sure that you are still on the brand's vision and. that you have not deviated. If any then you should readjust to work with the vision

The business plan and marketing strategy should still be intact or else you begin to fine tune once again to meet with the initial business plan

To reposition your brand you need to work on how your brand is being perceived internally and externally. So that you still have the brand outstanding.

Another area you need to check and fine tune if need be is know about the brand's competitors and their market positioning. You would find time yours to compete favourably with them.

OP, you said something about how a brand is being perceived internally. Who is driving this internal perception. I thought branding efforts are always geared to shape the perception of the business externally. That is to the customers and potential customers. Is there any real need to work on a brand's perception internally. Who are the stakeholders that need to have a good perception of the business internally?

What I have observed is that most business people only care about the external perception of their business. They would do anything to protect the image of the business outside but not within.
