Yes it is true that as someone approaching retirement and wants to live a comfortable life after retiring, you must be able to put somethings in place and of course investing is one of them. If you are able to invest in multiple set ups and investment platforms, they will create a steady source of income for you even after you retire and stop working.

You can also be able to begin or get self employed. To get self employed is easy and all you need to do is find what thing you can use to depend on yourself. You can even decide not to run the business by yourself and you will just employ workers to run the business for you while you oversee and provide the needed support.

There is a man in my area who began animal rearing before he retired and fully began animal production when he retired. Now, he has a very large farm where workers are employed to manage.
