Wix is a website builder that allows you to create different kinds of websites including ecommerce website. While you can use wix for free for blogging, you will have to upgrade to a business plan to create an online store. The basic website creation with a custom domain cost $4.5 per month, whereas the basic business plan starts from $17 per month. Business unlimited plan cost $25 per month, which is $4 less than Shopify.

In order to create an online store on Wix, you can follow these steps:

1. The first step is to create an account. Once you have created an account, you will get an option to create the kind of website you want.
2. The second step is to choose the 'Online Store' template or select 'Add' and then 'Store' to create a store on your existing website.
3. The third step involves designing your actual store. Customize the design and layout. Choose an appropriate color scheme.
4. Once you have customized the store, you are ready to add products. Click on the 'Products' tab and select 'Add Product' and start adding products to your store. Adding products means you are providing details about your product including a product image. details, and prices.
5. Once you have added the products, you need to set up your store's payment and shipping options. You can do that by clicking on the 'Store Setup' tab.
