I think before one should think of turning his blog there are a lot of things he has to have covered, like having an in flow of traffic, loyal users/subscribers, to achieve this , you might have to promote your blog, share your blog and its content on social media, participate in relevant online communities or forums, and consider guest posting on other popular blogs to reach a wider audience. SEO (search engine optimization) can also help to increase your blog's visibility on search engines.

And also an email list is a valuable asset for any business, as it allows you to directly reach and engage with your audience. Offer a free resource (such as an e-book or guide) in exchange for email addresses.

After that, there are many ways to monetize a blog, including advertising, sponsored content, affiliate marketing, and selling products or services. Experiment with different monetization strategies to find what works best for your blog and your audience.

Your blog is actually a business because you generate an income. Business means you have something to sell and you have created a platform to sell. Through your blog, you are not only offering content but also products and services, therefore, a blog is also a business. The major difference between a job and a business is while a job is you sell your labor (mental or physical) or service to be precise and you are on the payroll of your employer. Business is you have your own platform to sell your service as well as product, and you are not on anyone's payroll you create your own income through sales and services. However, the major problem with running a blog is you need to be highly skilled. A blog is basically a content site, therefore, you need to offer high quality content. People don't come on your blog on their own, you need to do SEO and marketing.
