How Easy Is It To Make Money as a Book Writer

I want to be honest about writing and publishing books for money. Just because you can write forum posts and articles doesn't mean you can write books. Books are longer, usually at least 100 pages, you need 20-30 pages even for ebooks. It takes a lot of dedication and knowledge to write that much. Even if you're a good writer and publish your books, it is not easy to earn money as a book writer. You need to either get a book contract and receive an advance payment, or you need to self-publish books that sell a lot of copies. Getting a book deal with a traditional publisher is hard for many people and selling self-published books is even harder.

Lots of people dream of making money by writing and selling ebooks, and there are plenty of good reasons why it's a great idea. The best one is you can keep earning money from your ebook sales for a long time, and if your ebook becomes really popular, you can make a ton of money. Apart from money, writing an ebook can also make you seem like an expert in your field and this can boost your credibility. However, it is not an easy method.

Making money in the book writing industry can be quite challenging and differs with respect to whether it is fiction or nonfiction, the writers’ ability and capability, how good they are in marketing their work and a little bit of luck. Traditional publishing involves finding an agent then submitting manuscripts to publishers while self-publishing enables authors to handle all aspects by themselves. In addition to royalties earned from books sold, there are also other sources of income such as speaking engagements and long-term passive income possibility. It calls for talent, dedication, hardwork and strategic marketing for one to succeed.
