How do you align your degree with your learned trade.

It's common to see people who learnt a trade different from what they studied at the tertiary institution. How this happens is not that obscuring, it's either they followed their passion while they learnt the trade and maybe not necessarily their passion but the kind of advice they got and decided to make things right by doing what they want at the university. But at some point in life, you wish the skill you have which is usually the one you got from apprenticeships is backed by a certificate gotten from the university at least this will give you edge while trying to succeed in life but this is not usually so. So how do you align your degree with your learned trade?

If your degree and the trade you learned are very far off, it is genuinely not possible to align the both. But for youngsters that are yet to delve into any of that, the best thing to do is for them to understand what they want to do with their lives. That decision should be made as early as when one is in high school abd then exposure to a trade related to that career should start at that age. With that done, that kid would have a clear direction based on his passion for that trade what he would study in the university that would align to that trade and be useful to him or her.
