As someone is a beginner in blogging, I can tell you free blogging is not beneficial.
If you are interested in affiliate marketing, blogging can be helpful, but you have to reach an audience. This means that you have to promote your blog.
It is difficult to promote a blog for free, but you can use Facebook, but even with Facebook there are limitations, as you'll still have to spend money to make money.
If you can afford to promote your blog, do it, however, if you can't still continue to blog and use free methods to promote it.

I Started Earn Money Online, Worldwide, sort of as a practice blog as I was already researching methods to earn money without having to spend money.

I am not gonna lie, I have not earned money on it, but it's more of a hobby than anything else.
I used the knowledge I've learned creating Earn Money Online, Worldwide and I am in the process of creating an Affiliate marketing Website that would be professional.
I have been saving all these months to get things organised and hopefully by next year January, I'll launch my website..
