Workplace theft is any activity that involves taking something from your workplace without permission. It's a big problem in the business world and can have serious consequences for the victim of the theft.

Theft at work includes both stealing from the company and stealing from coworkers. While most employees are honest and do not steal, there are some factors that contribute to workplace theft. These include:

Lack of supervision or accountability - Some employees feel they don't need to be held accountable for their actions since they are not directly supervised by their managers or supervisors. This means they don't have someone who can watch over them, which could help prevent them from committing acts of theft.

Lack of standards - Some workers may feel there isn't a set standard for what is considered acceptable behavior at work so they steal from others to get things out of their system or to make themselves feel better about themselves because they know no one will find out about it.
