I have been a community fans of Bitget over the last 18 months and I have been an advocate of organizing a peculiar event exclusive to Nigerians been the number one crypto hub in Africa.

The recently concluded KCGI global event where an Helicopter Airbus, iPhone 15 pro max and Tesla Cyberquad among others rewards where up for grab further arouse my curiosity as to when Nigeria users will get to experience a peculiar trading event.

I became more worried whether this wasn't going to happen after seeing the ongoing Diwali event for Indian users but finally, there is an event specifically for Nigerian users.

How does a trip to Dubai sounds like. This and many more are part of what to expect from this contest so let's brace up, come together and test our trading skills in this engaging and interesting contest.

Have you guys participated in any event of this nature from other CEX that I am not aware of, feel free to share your insight perhaps it might be of great help.

So far a few of my Indian friends have given a good review on the Diwali event, now that a similar rewarding event has extended to the leading crypto hub in Africa I expect a good turn out and generous spread of rewards

I did miss the KCGI trading competition, but I joined the grand finale on YouTube live. Bitget was legit giving out $BGB tokens , iPhone 15 pro max then I knew I messed up not joining lol .. I’ll definitely try my luck in the Nigeria trade challenge

While it's commendable that Bitget is organizing events for various regions, I can't help but wonder if such contests might overshadow the primary focus of trading. Events with extravagant prizes may attract attention, but are they truly beneficial for long-term investors? I'm a bit skeptical about the effectiveness of these events in enhancing trading skills.

Your mention of the ongoing Diwali event for Indian users caught my attention. How do you think such events impact the overall user experience on crypto platforms? Do they contribute significantly to user engagement, or do you find them to be more of a marketing strategy?

I completely get where you're coming from, and your skepticism is valid. It's true that events with flashy prizes can sometimes create a buzz that may seem detached from the core focus of trading. However, I believe there's a balancing act here that Bitget is trying to achieve.

which are:
  1. Community Building: Events, especially those with exciting prizes, serve as a great way to bring the community together. It's not just about the prizes; it's about creating a vibrant and engaged community of traders who can share insights and experiences.
  2. Educational Opportunities: Some events are designed not just for the thrill but also for education. Workshops, webinars, and discussions during these events can offer valuable insights and enhance trading skills. It's an opportunity for both beginners and experienced traders to learn and grow.
  3. Diverse Audience: Bitget's user base is diverse, with traders at various skill levels. These events cater to a broad audience and can be tailored to provide value to both beginners and seasoned traders.
  4. Long-Term Vision: While the prizes might seem like a short-term attraction, the long-term vision could be about building a sustainable and thriving trading community. The excitement of events can translate into ongoing engagement and collaboration among users.
That being said, I share your perspective on the importance of not losing sight of the primary focus — trading. It would be interesting to see how Bitget continues to strike a balance between creating an exciting community atmosphere and ensuring that the core trading experience remains robust and beneficial for long-term investors.

Events that comes with rewards are ways of motivating traders and investors and also a way of saying thank you for there support. This gives users sense of belonging and makes them feel among thereby fostering some connections between the users and the platforms. Additionally, events of this nature provide avenue for learning and helps users gain more insight which are beneficial to them in the long run.

For crypto adoption to go mainstream and be seamless, exchanges must necessarily add other exciting events with commensurate rewards that can captivate the interest of investors and I think that's what Bitget has been doing. It will be very nice to see other top crypto exchange key into this ideology because it will actually encourage massive adoption of crypto.

I have participated in some events like the spin wheels and Hotcoins event and they are quite good. From my experience, following the events rules and carrying out the tasks are very essential for one to win the ultimate prize Although I haven't before now but am hoping this particular event can change the narrative as the requirements are not too difficult to carry out looking at the reward attached. I won't be able to analyze all the details of the event for you but the link below should be enough to tell you about the details you need.

We could be seeing other exchange imitate some of this successful features of Bitget in the same style as Copy trading and Bot trading.

Personally, I have prior experience not just on Bitget but other on other similar platform. As for Bitget, I recently took part in a p2p trading event and was rewarded with some bgb. So if you are a Nigerian, the greenlight is very visible for you to participate
