It is absolutely important that business managers and business owners always remain realistic in task assignment to employees and workers and the reason is because that can totally help employees and workers to perform expected duties and responsibilities based on the task that has been assigned to them. The realisticness of a particular assign task to an employee from an employer can basically be detected on how clear and communicative and also explain it if the employer speaks on the task thereby giving the employee and worker guidelines as well as principles to follow in order to make sure that he or she meets up with what is expected from him or her to perform on the task or duty. They are definitely so many reasons why employers should always be realistic in assignment of task and duties to their employees, without wasting much time let us consider some of these reasons.

AVOID BURNOUT: Overburdening employees with unrealistic workloads and deadlines can lead to burnout, which can negatively impact their mental health and productivity.

QUALITY OF WORK: When employees are given an unrealistic workload, they may rush through their work, resulting in a lower quality output. Setting achievable goals allows employees to focus on the task at hand and produce high-quality work.

RETENTION: When employees are continuously given unrealistic workloads, they may become frustrated and start to look for work elsewhere. By setting realistic goals, employers can increase the likelihood of employee retention.

MORALE: Unrealistic task assignments can lower employee morale and result in disengagement. By setting realistic goals, employees can feel a sense of accomplishment and remain motivated.

Being realistic? That's very important. Sometimes employers are unrealistic to the point of making an employee question if their boss thinks he or she is a slave master. An employer should be very careful not to make a good employee QUIT! It's very hard to recruit good talent. When you get a talented employee with a strong work ethic, the employer should do their best to keep them happy and productive. An employer who sets unrealistic work goals for employees, can literally cause a company to go out of business.
