It is so funny to think that some business owners think that by just increasing the number of the employees in a particular business organisation automatically increase productivity . this is absolutely not the case in every situation because increasing the number of your employees could possibly outnumber the number of productivity rather than increasing it . in the sense consider the instance that you have an agricultural farm and your employee labourers to work on your agricultural farm so that you can have a good amount of output for sale in the industrial market . At first you employee 10 farm workers and yet you feel that production was quite slow and so you add additional then making it all together 20 . If the farmland is considered to be a small area this could lead to overcrowding and rather than improving productivity it's totally decreases it .

In economics this is known as the study of production possibility . As the business owner and manager of the agricultural farmland you must first of all , consider why are the 10 initially employed workers not doing their job well , you must understand whether the situation necessarily need to be solved by employing more employees , because in most prominent and usual cases to increase productivity in business , does not necessarily mean that you must increase the amount of your employees . In the case of the agricultural farm land it could possibly be that there is no enough agricultural implements , equipment , and machines for each farmworker to use , and this is possibly slowing productivity .

New businesses always makes mistakes when it comes to the number of employees they have but after sometime they will realise that the problem is actually not employing a lot of people but employing people who actually have proper knowledge and understanding of how a business environment works.

The truth is that as a business owner you should try as much as possible to employ many people in specific roles in your business in order not to overwork your employees. If you employ a few people in your business and there are a lot of responsibilities for them, they may probably not be able to carry it out effectively because they may not cope with the fact that they are overworking themselves.

So this is why it is important that people have proper knowledge and understanding of how business works before venturing into it. There are a lot of things that makes a businesses very productive and one of it is employing qualified people for specific roles.

Specialisation in the business environment Is also very important because it enhances productivity in business. If people are expertise in whatever role they have in the business venture, they will definitely do their work well.

Lastly, it is important for the business owner to have very good business knowledge in order to coordinate the employees well.

When employing your staffs, the size of your business matters alot. It is very wrong to employ a few people to do the work of multitude and it is equally wrong to employ more than your business can afford. Like it is rightly said division of labor is necessary in making work faster and better. Having a few staffs do the work, more staffs could have done with just little pay and no incentives can make those staffs weary and can make them do jobs the way the want and according to their ability. Thereby pleasing some customers and displeasing the others.

When there are enough staffs, you divide the jobs according to their ability and qualifications, by so doing, you get perfect jobs and business will run smoothly.

Nevertheless, having so many staffs when you don't have a business traffic, you don't make as much as you can pay them is a trouble because such staffs can do jobs to the downfall of your business. They can discourage customers from coming to you, they can make you lose investors.

They can behave unruly and you won't be able to do anything because you owe them. Having new staffs when you business is on the growth can help you get more ideals on how to run your business

To some extent it does that is if there is need it will be state employees and staff should be increased . But if there is no need but you by the business owner still goes ahead to employ more employees and staffs thinking that it will actually boost your business productivity then there is every possibility that you are just deceiving yourself . Do not be mislead to think that a business with huge amount of employees actually means huge productivity . Absolutely not because when the amount of employees in a business organisation absolutely exceeds the amount of productive activity in the same business organisation then the business is set to run on a production possibility strategy which is usually analysed in economics .

They must be a need for more employees before you being the business owner see ways to employ more employees and staffs but if there is no need to employ more employees then it is advised not to even think about employing any employees at all because your intention to bring and boost business productivity may never turn out to be but rather you will make a business incur or necessary and improper results and repercussions .
