Do you consider betting as an investment option??

betting is gambling and any kind form of gambling is banned in my home country. If you are caught betting or gambling, you will be sent to jail. I do not think betting is an investment, betting is gambling and gambling cannot be considered an investment. Some people might earn from betting or gambling, but the majority lose.

I know very well for sure that you can earn a lot of money from sports betting in just a little amount of time but I do not see it as a legit investment option. You can keep on waiting for a long time and you will not make any significant profit. So it is always advisable that even if you will bet you should do it with an amount that you can afford to lose.

To an extent betting is an investment because one can be able to generate profit from it ,but the question is whether betting is a good form of investment. As for me betting is not quite a good form of investment as it comes with a great risk . It is better done with spare money and not money that is expected to make a return.

I view betting negatively because my religion prohibits betting. Betting is one of the main reasons why many people lose money instantly. Betting is gambling and gambling becomes addictive with the passage of time and many people require treatment because they become bankrupt. All these betting are not investment, it is said that "House always win", most of the gambling platforms are either fake or they are fixed to make people lose their money.

Some platforms are fine to gamble, but as happens in gambling, people fall in greed and lose their deposit instead of earning from it.​

I used to bet on horse racing because it is more enjoyable to watch the races when I have a bet. But I cannot consider betting a form of investment because horse racing is gambling. Whatever I win now will surely be lost in the following days of betting. For me betting is only for entertainment and not for investing.

You can choose to call anything that brings back money to you an investment, it's your choice. Some people are making money on betting, and it's an investment to them.

I don't really consider betting as an investment option because it is largely based or some kind of analysis and luck. Even though there are investments that requires a lot of luck but I think better is more of luck than analysis because there are teams that you may not expect they will win a match and you will be shocked that they will win. Even though betting is a legal and register company in most company I still don't consider it as a form of business to those playing the betting game. The betting company might see it as an investment to them as they are making their profit from their on a daily basis. Here in my country bettors don't lack from betting shops, some stay there long day and night trying to earn from their invested funds. But unfortunately for them, which I've seen the more they try investing more funds the more they lose funds. That tinkles on my mind if betting is an investment that yields profit. With the losses I've seen around it, it doesn't seem legit to me.

Their are lots of betting options bettors choose from, to invest their funds. Like the casino betting, racing, simulation game, sports betting, virtual betting, politics etc. This are the options that is listed by most of the popular betting companies in my local country. Leaving lots of bettors with options to invest their hard earned money to try their luck in order to earn.

On your own do you consider betting/gambling online as an investment option??

Never! I can never consider betting as an option for investment. Betting to me is not a business neither is it an investment. Betting is very risky and I don't think anyone should consider it as investment. Betting does not favour people all the time. It may even take longer time than necessary before one will gain from betting. I my experience with people that bet a lot, they lose a lot.

Your last sentence explains it all. When you bet often you lose often too. Betting is a risky type of investment, and when it comes to investment with high level productivity, betting isn't considered in such list. I've gambled a lot, hoping that I'll make money from it but to no avail, losses became part of me. I'm gappy I've limited my time betting knowing to well, i have no chances of success there.

Betting and investment are not in any way related. They may be have the same goal, which maybe either one loses or gains but they work in diffrent ways. Betting is a game of prediction, you predict on something that you are not directly involved in most of the time, while investment is putting resources on something that you are sure may give you likely positive outcomes.

Not only Islam but Christian too detest betting. But due to lobe of money and hardship we look into betting as a means of making money since it doesn't require expertise to invest on it. Since I've learned my lessons that betting can't make me money, i dripped it and not wasting my time on what can't give me peace of mind.

For instance, if you want to start a business , their are some steps you needed to take inorder to run a successful business . Your said what i needed to hear perfectly. When it comes to betting, it is based on luck, speculation. We can't be certain of our investment unless luck plays its own part in our success. Such can't be considered a genuine investment for making money. But in business when we plan it better through market research, and understand the business very well their is high level chance to become successful through it.
