Advertisers will make paid surveys or opinions to get the people opinion about a product or even ask people from the street every release of product to know what people are liking from this product or what people doesn't like on this product or what doesn't seems to them as a good functionnality in order to remove or not consider in further release this is what I know. Otherwise they use all these advices and tips and then ameliorate product based on them. By this way they well market product based on the people opinions and not based on what they think only.
