Dangers of going on a break in your business.

It often happens that some businesses that don't really have any business going on break just decide to lock shop for sometime to rest. There are certain businesses that should never go on a break beyond normal weekend breaks of one or two days. Some people would close their business places and go for an extended break of one week or so. That poses great danger to the business in some guise which are:

1) Loss of customers to competitors: As a business, you should not give your competitor any chance for a customer of yours to get close to their shop. But that's exactly what your absence from the market does. Your competitor can capitalize on the extended break to swoop away all your customers.

2) Disappointing customers when they desperately need your products/services: The goal of every business should be to repay the faith that a customer uas on his or her business but being absent when a customer needs you the most as a business can be terrible to the customer and they would never have faith in your business again.

Should business owners/ operators not break? Hire someone to help stand in if you desperately need to go on break.
