For for businesses to be able to accomplish their sole aim which is to make profit and remain in business they must efficiently manage the available scare resources in order to maximize profit , however for efficient and effective management of these available scare resources relevant , accurate , and timely information is needed or required . But why do they need this information ? Computers as a result of information technology (IT) has played a very significant role in taking businesses to greater heights . And also as a result of computer information technology business organisations no longer run business activity with the use of manual resource , where time used to complete a single task was more demanding and quality of work could not measure up . But as computers found its way into business organisations and commercial establishment the processing of work got more improved and stabilized .
