All new products or services always faces the challenge acceptance in the market. People always find it hard to accept a new product until it has stayed long in the market. The reason for this is that consumers most times doubt the quality of the product or service. They would want a free sample of the product to test or testimonies from other people that have used the product before they start using it.
Last year, I freelanced as a brand ambassador to a company launching a new food and spices product and I had to into the market to canvass for sales of the product. There was a lot of complaint from market sellers and consumers that the product was still new to the market and they had to try a few samples of the product for free before buying for resale or buying for consumption.
Forum members, what was your experience with a new product. Did it meet your expectations?.
Also if you have launched a new product, tell us the challenges you've faced.
