The floriculture business is a good business that if managed properly can be a goldmine. However, it has it's own challenges that every prospective person that wants to venture into the business should be aware of and prepared to battle against. Some of the specific challenges of floriculture business are:
1) Flowers are perishable in nature: Flowers after harvesting, have a very short lifespan which puts pressure on the business operators to immediately transport and deliver after an order has been placed.
2) Floriculture depends majorly on natural conditions to thrive which means a little challenge like water scarcity can strain the business in very hard ways.
3) Floriculture is labour intensive. It requires that you should have physically fit staff that can withstand the labour requirements of the business.
