Career growth as defined by Wiki Jobs in basic terms, is the process of climbing the career ladder. It simply means moving systematically up the stages in your career till you get to the peak. For example, an academic career can start with a position of a Teaching Assistant, Assistant Lecturer, Lecturer 1, Lecturer II, Associate Professor, Professor. When a person climbs up steadily through these stages, that is career growth.
A high-paying job is a job where a person earns a lot of money. Assuming a person is offered employment by two organizations, one of the organizations has a system that would guarantee this person career growth. The other organization has a system that offers this person a huge pay package. Which one should the person choose?
For me, I would choose the job with a better pay than career growth. The world is too hard. We need quick money so badly. What about you?
