Can Timidity of an employer or employee affect business negatively?

The word timidity can be describe as a situation where some one is lacking courage or self confidence.
It can also be fear of making decision or being too cautious or slow to act.

In a situations where such a thing is been happening among the employers or employees such a business will be affected drastically.
Employer or employee must be somebody that can easily face customer ,address them,negotiate with the customers and many more.
But if this can not be found in the attitude of the employer that means such a person did not worth doing business. Because its one of the requirement that a good marketer or sellers needed to possess.

And if during the interviewing candidate to employ for job in a business did not possess good quality like having boldness to face customers such should not be employ.

I belive that even there are some customers that really appreciate sellers to be bold enough to face them talk with them ,even joke with them.

I will like to hear more from you people that;

Without thinking about it, it will affect it if not immediately but in the long run. A timid employer or employee wouldn’t be able to communicate the goals of the business appropriately to others. A business executive needs who is bold to propel the business to a greater height. This can’t be achieved with timidity

Timidness is not the same thing with lack of confidence. It only means being reserved. Though timidness may affect the business badly. A timid manager may find it difficult to talk when it is necessary to talk. This should be the reason why managers need to learn how to be confident. It will be a setback to an organization if the manager doesn't have the gut to speak up.

@btaliat .The word reserve that you made mention there means that somebody that know what to say but couldn't at the moment till when it rain only him seh. It can also be call shyness which is very bad and it will really affect business negatively is there is no quick correction on time

This reminds me of our lesson in salesmanship subject in college. Business is all about products, services and communications. That is true because you cannot operate a business without communicating with people. When you hire someone he should be responsive and better if he is a good conversationalist. Timidity or shyness is a disadvantage in the business.

Sometimes in business it is not just the monetary gain that motivates employees to always work but also the working condition and also the fill in and around the workplace. A timid manager or an employee is one that will be very hard to cook with and as such there might be a dip in productivity in the workplace.
