We have a saying that investing your money is better to earn than just keeping it in the bank. That may be true in most cases that is why we are always in the hunt for a good investment. My uncle who lives in the US bought a time sharing package in Boracay, that is the most popular beach resort in our country. His time sharing affords him to use the hotel accommodation for 4 weeks. Since he can only use the time sharing for a 1 week vacation every year because of his job so he rents out the 3 weeks of use to his friends and relatives in the US.
When I talked to him seriously about that investment he admitted that he earns very little for the investment. However, the rental he earns (for the 3 weeks) can serve as his pocket money when comes on vacation here. However, the plane fare is not covered because that is a costly expense. My uncle said that it is better to earn a little instead of wasting the time share that has not been used every year. I have to agree that he’s got a point.
