Binance CEO CZ has made it clear that the 0 fee feature for trading Bitcoin and Ethereum is temporary only.
Of course, many platforms are claiming freebies, but CZ disagrees. His statement is that people make their part of efforts when there is something for free, so they pay in hard work, which is work for the giveaway type of things.
There was absolutely no objection to CZ's claim. I expected some people to point out that free BTC and ETH trade on Binance. However, CZ has made claims that there is nothing free. Everything comes with a price. Even the zero fees or free trade of BTC and ETH is actually covered by fees received from the trading of other cryptos.
The current 0 fee trade on Binance is not going to stay. CZ claims it is helping traders to avoid losses in a down market, but I think this temporary free trade is only to bring all BTC and ETH traders to Binance.
