If you want to improve your finances, you can either start your own business, invest in the market, or do both. There is no other way to become rich other than these two. However, between business and investment which one is better?

If you check the top 10 list of the world’s richest men, you will see there is only one person who built a fortune through investment, the rest of them are business owners. Among the 10 richest people, only Warren Buffet is an investor.

You make more money as a business owner compared to an investor. However, making money as a business owner is very difficult because you need skills, knowledge, and expertise to start and run the business, and make it successful.

When you invest, all you need to do is identify assets that can be profitable, invest your money and go back to sleep, you don’t even have to work. For a business, you will have to work day and night.

Correct, as a business owner you need to work hard day and night in order to succeed. Investors doesn't need work much with their time, their money speaks high volume for themselves. All they need to do is, figure out that lucrative project they see great future in, and invest wisely on it and waiting for the investment to bring good returns. Business owners needs to be creative, bring ideas that will bring success. If a business owner fails to have knowledge, I don't think such business owner will excel. Knowledge we are talking about isn't the one studied at the University, as a business owner, you need to think beyond the shores of education and garnet your own ideas and put it into practical and establish a business that will call for attention.
