Want proof that being a youtuber makes money? Just check out the social networks of personalities and see the countless trips made by influencers. By publishing videos on Youtube, personalities like these get partnerships and sponsorships that are converted into a lot of money. Despite being a more difficult and slower way to earn money, sometimes it is worth trying to be a youtuber if you are funny, have expertise in a subject or have some talent, for example.

Undoubtedly, having a YouTube channel is one of the most lucrative ways you can use to make some good amount of money for yourself presently. There are a lot of passive income opportunities for people who create videos on YouTube.

Having a YouTube channel is one of the major things I want to achieve this year and try as much as possible to monetize it.

If you want to make money from YouTube you should pick a niche you are very knowledgeable of and start creating videos around it. You should also focus on giving value because that is the way you can use to attract attention.

To monetize your YouTube channel, you need to meet the following requirements:

  1. You must be 18 years or older, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.
  2. You must have a Google AdSense account to earn revenue from ads.
  3. Your channel must comply with YouTube's Partner Program policies and terms of service.
  4. You must have at least 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 watch hours in the past 12 months.
Once you have met these requirements, you can enable monetization for your channel in YouTube Studio, by following these steps:

  1. Go to YouTube Studio.
  2. Click on the "Monetization" tab.
  3. Follow the steps to link your AdSense account.
  4. Choose which types of ads you want to display on your videos.
