Domestic gas retailing business involves the selling of domestic gas into gas cylinders at small quantities ranging from 0.5kg to 15kg to individuals, households and businesses. People might think that it is not possible to apply Artificial Intelligence in this kind of business. I would explore two ways we can apply AI in this kind of business.
1) Fuel Prediction: AI can use analytics data to predict the particular day of the week or month that demand for domestic gas is at peak in the gas station. This would help manage the amount of gas stocked per time.
2) Reminders for Routine Maintenance: Artificial Intelligence can have sensors that would be embedded in the system that would indicate that the gas dispensing machine is due for maintenance based on pre defined indicators from working parts of the machine.
