The recent survey that was carried out on the Central Bank digital currency projects revealed that about 90% of the central banks are investigating the CBDC project and this is basically because this project cut across all the central banks of the world and it is a global project. It is very important to investigate this project before it is been inculcated into the financial system of the economy and that is the basic reason why the investigation need to be carried out on the viability of this products. It is very important to note that the world is gradually shifting to the Digital world and as a result , the old system is been updated and people are now moving into digital system and that is why it is very necessary for us to call for the use of the CBDC project that is being used all over the country now.

The Chinese government has decided to ads lots of mind-blowing features to its Central Bank digital currency which is called the digital yuan and they have actually made it known that they would integrate a smart contract into the blockchain that is employed for the digital yuan but the only difference from the cryptocurrency is that this highly regulated and it is a centralised platform.
