Business Ideas Call center business is it very profitable

think with the evolution of technology many people are now having phones and no shortage of phones or those oldage period where people find it hard to reach out and communicate with their love ones , And during that period Call center business was really seelling then where you charge people for making call and most times the chage could be by the minute the person have used for calling and then the amount was way cheaper , i think there was a period i once used the call center then to contact someone and my experience was okay since everything was clear and then smart phones was way expensive to afford so many that cannot afford smart phones had to use the call center since the phone booth that was created by the government wasnt working anymore ,call center business is it very profitable

Gone are the days when this business was very lucrative. Then not many people can afford recharged card. Nowadays, this business has technologically faded away not only because there is now cheap process of recharged cards but because there are now many applications that allow calling with internet hereby rendering this business redundant.

Call center business might be lucrative but it is a kind of unethical business. I live in a city that is considered the "capital" of call centers and there are many scam call centers in my city. Please remember that real, legit companies will always conduct businesses with reputable service providers only. Any local call center is most likely a scam.

Please can you throw more light and a broader experience about them as been scam , because many local call centers that I have seen are not scams as people say since you could easily make calls and do any thing there and they are not online but physically seen so it would be hard for them to just scam you

Call center business used to be hot cake but time has changed everything. But now It's very easy to get a mobile phone and choose your preferable network provider and buy recharge cards then call anyone you wish to call. The only business that moves now is printing of recharge cards and you start selling in bulks.

Yes, I will definitely throw some light. There are many "Air duct cleaning" services call centers in many different countries. They have their vendors in Canada who provide them a list of general Canadian people who the call center agents always bother by calling them the whole day. If a person avails their "services", they actually charge them more than what they were offering initially. They do this by finding faults in your duct cleaning system. For example, they remove the filters that were working perfectly and install a new filter to make the customers pay more. You must be thinking: how do I know this? Well, there is a full Youtube documentary that shows how people hire agents in some 3rd Tier countries and there are many call centers in such countries. Basically, they are indeed a scam.

It was 10 years ago when a nephew of my wife invited me as a consultant for a call center business. I made the blueprint for the technical needs of the network that would be connected to the foreign clients. However, the business did not materialize because of the needed huge capital outlay for the business space and the equipment.

The world right now is really revolved fabulous the era of call centres. Deep right now almost everybody can afford a mobile phone to use. There are a lot of other better investments that you can actually put your money in but I do not think opening a call centre is going to be a good idea at all.

If you ask me I'll simply say, its not longer profitable. Cos of the large number of cell phones around. People don't value it anymore. You can't go to the call centre to make calls when your sibling, parents, and friends etc, have cell phone. It was profitable earlier on, and not now.
