  • An NDIS provider delivers NDIS funded supports to participants.
  • Providers come from various backgrounds and possess different areas of expertise.
  • It's crucial to select providers that align with your specific needs.
  • Providers can be large companies, charities, small not-for-profits, sole traders, or any other business entity.
  • NDIS registered providers are regulated by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
  • All providers, whether registered or unregistered, must adhere to the NDIS Code of Conduct.
  • If your NDIS funding is managed by the NDIA, you're restricted to using NDIS registered providers for service delivery.
  • Participants who self-manage or have a plan manager handling their NDIS funding can choose between NDIS registered providers or unregistered providers.
