Operating a business is not easy, especially from the scratch. Promoting a business through different strategies like; advertising, marketing and branding, comes with a lot of hard work and consistency. When a business has gained its growth and momentum, some business owner next step is how to expand the business and in most cases, large scale businesses are often expanded. There are so many business owners who see expansion to other locations within and outside of their country as a necessary advantage. At times, the expansion is due to consistent demand by potential customers who are not within the same location of the original Headquarter of the business.
Expanding a business in my country would mean operating at both ends simultaneously or employing the services of a professional manager to oversee the daily activities of the business. Some business owners while in the process of expansion, they allow one side of the business suffer neglect and this has an adverse effect on the business. It might be difficult to expand a business to an unfamiliar environment, where language communication can become a great barrier to productivity. The question now is, if you operated a business, would you have a Headquarter for it? If yes, at what point and would you be selective of the region?
