Warehouses are storage areas that are used to store products and materials. There are many reasons for a warehouse, some are: to help with ordering procedures; to receive, store, prepare and dispatch goods efficiently; to stock or store items at an offsite location or just in bulk.

On the one hand, supermarkets and grocery stores are generally stocked with a large variety of products. To do this, they need to store the stock off-site. On the other hand, there are many reasons for modern companies to have their own warehouses. First and foremost is to use it as a stockroom for backup storage. Especially in industries where there is not always enough space available in the production area or on the loading ramps, like in machine building. This can result in lost revenue due to late deliveries if nothing is monitored and stored on site. Another case is the use of large amounts of material, which is intended for future sales and therefore cannot be sold immediately (used car trade). Large projects are also a reason for having a warehouse because only after finishing construction work can all materials be carried into the planned space - foreman or project manager.

Warehousing is a vital part of business, no matter what business you're in. If you're concerned about having your valuable products and equipment handled with care by those you trust, then you've made the right decision.
