Why do you feel Burning Sensation in Your Body?

Ouch! Pain this is the way your body tells you something is wrong. It's a sign that you should pay attention to, and the sooner you do, the better. If you feel a burning sensation in your body, it could be caused by many things: acid reflux, stress and anxiety, heartburn, or even a vitamin deficiency. If you have recently eaten spicy foods and are feeling pain, your stomach may be producing too much acid. You can remedy this by drinking milk or eating yogurt.

Stress and Anxiety

So many don't know stress and anxiety can cause a lot of discomfort in the body. If you are feeling pain because of stress or anxiety, try meditating to help calm yourself down.

GERD
Heartburn is a symptom of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) where excess acid escapes from the stomach into the esophagus. GERD can be painful and sometimes dangerous. If you suspect you may have GERD, talk to your doctor as soon as possible so they can provide treatment recommendations.

Vitamin Sensation

Burning sensations in your body, it could also be caused by a vitamin deficiency. If you suspect this may be the case for you, consult with your doctor to receive treatment recommendations.

A burning sensation can also be caused by a wide range of conditions, including:
  • Injury or irritation to a nerve (neuropathy) -Indigestion.
  • A pinched nerve in the neck, back, legs, and arms
  • Diabetes
  • HIV/AIDS
  • Multiple sclerosis.
