I have noticed this days that; there is an increasing challenge in most work organisations as workers are becoming more educated and more concerned in the quality of workers are seeking a large voice in the shape of the work environment as a result of the democratic principle and practice especially under socialist government.
Under this technique or method; jobs are assigned to group of workers or a team. It has resulted in reduced overhead, higher productivity, better product quality, low turnover and absenteeism.
With time, personnel departments will be expected to play more important role in organisations in the areas if training of workers, attracting scarce human resources and at the same time offer a wide variety of full time and part-time work schedules that will allow employees puck the hours and days that wish to work.
Consequently, cultural and demographic factors are likely to play more important role in the design if jobs .
