XRP is a cryptocurrency was launched by Chris Larsen & Jed McCaleb in 2013 as a crypto payment method of Ripple Labs.

XRP is one of cryptocurrency which is designed for P2P transfer, but not based on bitcoin, it utilizes on Consensus algorithm, Ticker of XRP is also XRP.

On 22 December 2020, the US Securities and Exchange Commission sued Ripple co-founder Christian Larsen and CEO Bradley Garlinghouse on charges of violating security laws since 2013, this resulted in XRP's downfall too. However, XRP is still active crypto, it is among the top 5 cryptocurrencies in coin market.

All top exchangers still support different types of XRP trading, including spot and derivatives trading with more than 100 pairs of trading. Maximum supply of XRP is 100 billion, there are more than 45 billion XRPs currently circulating in the coin market.

as it stands, no one can really say this is the stand of ripple, I have always wondered why this coin keeps depreciating in value when others are at least doing well.
