It is important to understand that if bitcoin reaches $100,000, it will bring a positive sentiment across the entire cryptocurrency landscape and the altcoins are not excluded. The investors would definitely want to diversify their portfolios and that would result in a bullish movement on the side of the altcoins because there would be an increase interest and investment in the altcoins as well. When we consider the history, we will discover that a surge in Bitcoin price as actually led to an increase in the prices of altcoins and this is called the Altseason because the altcoin will also experience substantial gains.

If Bitcoin explodes to $100,000 (amen to that!) it's gonna be a wild ride for altcoins. BTC hitting the coveted six figures will grab headlines everywhere and definitely encourage more folks to jump into crypto, meaning fresh funds will flow into altcoins as well just like a rising tide lifting all boats.
If BTC's price surges, its dominance could slip as it will become more scarce and hard-to-buy, giving altcoins more room to grow. Plus, investors who scored big on Bitcoin (looking at my r100k community!) might look into altcoin to expand their gains.
On the other hand, some altcoin investors might jump ship to chase BTC and the $100K shadow might make it tougher for some altcoins to get noticed. But I largely believe it will only help push altcoins toward more growth. That said, I would recommend you to DYOR before making any major investment decisions.
