Do you have a laptop and internet connection? Then you can learn a digital skill. But why bother?

Well, aside from the fact that you're probably on your laptop or mobile device right now and are hopefully connected to some sort of network, there are so many reasons for you to learn about digital skills. Let's start with jobs: the world of work is changing fast. More and more people are working remotely, and as a result employers aren't as concerned with where you live as they used to be.

They're also looking for employees who have well-rounded skills that are easily applied in many different settings—like being able to write clearly and concisely, or being able to make sense of data quickly by visualizing it. Digital skills can help you do all those things. In fact, the ability to create infographics is listed in the top 5 most in-demand skills for 2020 (according to LinkedIn). What about now?

Digital skills are also a great way for you to learn how to set goals for yourself and achieve them without a ton of supervision (or even any at all). You can work anytime, anywhere on your own schedule. Plus, online courses offer interactive exercises so you can test yourself along the way, making sure that you are on track.
