What are the ways of checking the products for possible defects?

For a business dealing with products like a supermarket or a dry goods store it is imperative to check the delivered products for potential defects. Especially for food products the quality should be in the highest level. Spoiled food is a ground for terminating the contract of the supplier.

It is a hard task to check the products that are so big number like a truck of soda or milk what more with the eggs. The style of checking is random like an ocular inspection of 2 trays of eggs in a batch of 30 to 50. For dry goods it is easier to check for damages like footwear or clothing. However for items that are packed and sealed the only checking that can be done is visual. For defective products the contract of supply should have a safety net in favor of the customer.

Yeah, this should be a critical point that all buyers should raise with all the suppliers they have. They should be a safety net as you have stated to help buyers still gain even with defect products. Maybe the problem should be equally bore by both the supplier and buyer.

This is actually a very important point and I do not even know how store owners do it. I have worked in a pharmaceutical stop before and what we are mostly bothered about is the expiry date of the medicines. We normally have an inventory anytime you have supplies to indicate when the drugs are going to expire and the system automatically informs us.
