A resource refers to anything that can be used in order to achieve a set goal or objectives. Business resources therefore are as follows;
Human resources.
These are the people or employees that are involved in the day to day running of the business.
Therefore the employees to be productive on the business, the management must match the right person to the right job activities for the success of the business.
Financial resources
This refers to the money that is required to start and operate the business. Availability of adequate funds to the business makes it run smoothly and more likely to achieve its set targets than a business that doesn't have adequate financial resources.
However the availability of free owned funds that is funds from owner savings can be more useful for the betterment of the business than borrowed money for from the lending institutions. In a matter of fact it is advisable by the financial advisors that finances from the lending institutions like Banks is not that useful to be used in the operations of the business.
Physical/infrastructure resources
This includes tangible materials like buildings, business premises, furniture, the stock, machinery and equipment among Others
