You want to build wealth in your life, because you don't Want to work throughout your life. You don't want to keep working so hard in your 50s so you can sustain yourself when others are resting. A real estate investment trusts is a company that was created by law as a trust where the owners or the promoters own real estate income producing real estate which are mostly commercial real estate and by law, they are required to source their funding from the public. The more reason it's called a Trust. They are required by law to share 90% of their profit with their trustees because their profits are task exempt. You can get them on the New York stock exchange. They are publicly traded. They are guaranteed in most cases a 5% return of investments. No ownership requirements. The highest REIT are American Tower ( $100 billion market cap), Crown castle ( $60 billion market cap).
