I grew up in a country or region where majority of people are fond of saying the adage or possibly the wise word which goes "we rise by lifting others" . But a lot of people have been asking the question which is how true is this statement ? in other words they have been asking themselves is it really true that an individual can rise by lifting others ? . personally I strongly believe that it depends on the angle in which this statement is been viewed . If you take this statement to mind with a literal understanding you may not understand what it is trying to mean or say . The phrase or statement is not referring to a literal helding out of hand to lift or grasp up an individual who is possibly sitting on the floor or kneeling down .

But the true sense of this statements simply refers to helping others who are in need of help , because in the process of helping others you are in turn bettering yourself . You do not need to be some sort of philanthropist before you can help someone who is in need of money possibly to fund a business also handle a personal and material need . Generosity is not only giving as a quality to only individuals who are considered wealthy and rich , you as a normal individual can be generous by at least giving a lending a hand to individuals who are in need of a particular thing which you possibly may have , because in this way you are as well bettering yourself .

"Let's rise by lifting others" indeed has been a usual phrase in many places.

And looking to this statement,it is very right to rise, and when rising you lift others along with you.

But,it is not only by saying with the lips, it's also by being willing to do what you're standing for,and doing it.

For an instance of the system which has not being going according to this phrase they sing;is our GOVERNMENT.

They only tend to encourage those they lead,to do accordingly.

When most of our leaders are rising, they do not fancy lifting others at all.

They rise to lift their pockets and money wells alone.
Leaders are to lead good examples, not to lead the odds.

But,our today leaders, when they climb, what they do is BREAK THE LADDER,ladder they used in climbing.

Why will you be a leader, after rising; knowing you're in power, seeing the condition of the masses, you close your eyes and tightening the knot very well for your followers to keep on suffering.

The youths who are the leaders of tomorrow, who wants to learn,so as to rise like you did; you debar them from rising,at same time pushing your children to rise more.

When you subject those youths to sit at home, debaring them from going to school,so they can rise;it is not ideal for the country you're standing for as a leader.

WHO IS A LEADER?
DO YOU RISE TO LIFT OTHERS AS A LEADER?

It is absolutely right that we rise by lifting others because in the cause of helping others whether financially or personally we better . It is definitely very wrong to see a lot of people who are unwilling and reluctant to help others possibly financially and in other personal related ways , we shouldn't be the reason why our fellow men and women are suffering financially or in any other possible ways we must be willing to help others because when we have others we better and raise ourselves . To be more explanation about what it means or what exactly do we rise by helping others I will play or give a particular scenario .

Imagine that you are a philanthropist who is specially in to helping Young ones to aspire in life financially and also to help young ones who are actually interested to be financially successful and possibly one day you meet a particular individual who indeed is very serious and motivated to make money and you are moved to help this individual and because you help this individual your reputation as a philanthropist possibly increase and a lot of people will have a good view on to who you are .

Like you clearly said, this statement is actually a way of saying there is a reward in helping others, when we help others we are not just doing them a favor but also ourselves. The statement it self is true but not everyone who says this statement actually mean it, some of them do not even help, or they are simply after their personal gains .
