Small-scale businesses possibly including retail business and wholesale business . A wholesale business for a little business could absolutely be controlled by one individual which is known as the sole proprietor . And as we already know a sole proprietor is someone who controls manage and run a sole proprietorship business and by definition a sole proprietorship business is definitely a kind of business owned and controlled by one individual who is possibly known as the sole proprietor . The sole proprietor has the sole duty and role to enjoy the business profit and as he enjoy the business property also bears the business losses .

The government can absolutely supports the existence of sole proprietorship business for the existence of small-scale businesses which possibly include retail business and wholesale business . One of the ways to do so is by involving the existence of business subsidy which possibly involves the ability of government cutting down the cost of facilitating a small-scale business . Another way they can do so is by providing social amenities and also provide funds for individuals who have in mind to establish small-scale businesses of their own . Government support towards small scale businesses is absolutely a very interesting thing .

It is indeed and obviously true that small-scale business totally includes businesses like retail outlets and wholesale business organisations . It is obviously true that without the government's support in the existence of small scale business , small-scale business like retail outlets and wholesale business organisations will actually not reach its full potential or function properly in such a way that it impacts members of the public and does patronizing from it . Majority of individuals who have the intentions of establishing a small-scale business of actually not been able to do so as a result of lack of sufficient funds or inadequate financial Capital to do so . One of the advisable thing for the government to do is to create business banks so as to support these individuals that have in mind to establish small-scale businesses of their own so as not to remain idle and become an objection and obstruction to the state .

The provision of social amenities for small-scale businesses absolutely another thing the government can actually make sure to establish so as to impact the lives of small-scale business . The provision of good roads and other transport systems absolutely goes a long way in aiding the free flow of business transactions from the wholesaler to the retailer and from a retailer to the final consumers .

While some countries take the support of small scale business as their priority, others leave them at their fates. However, for a government that wants a good and robust economic, it is pertinent for them to find some ways of helping these small scale business owners. There are many ways government can help these owners of small scale and some of these ways include:

Giving out of loans: lack of money is what make some of these business owners not to expand their coast. Some of them have better business ideas but they don't have much to execute all what they have. Some what they have can not sufficiently do what they want to do. Therefore, government can give our loans to help them. Not only giving out loan but making sure that there is no much interest on the repayment and there are no stringent rules for obtaining the loans

Provision of social amenities is another way government can help these small scale business owners. The most pronounced hinderance facing those people is lack of stable electricity. If government can help in stabilizing power or subsidizing fuel prices. This will go a long way in helping people that engage in small scale business.

Government have a lots of role and responsibility in the existence of small scale business, small scale business remain the life wire of any country. Small scale business play a very vital role in the society and so therefore their existence is very key to government and government must also make sure they do all things within their power to hold and support small scale business in their country
Government must make sure to provide them with a good atmosphere to conduct and carry out their business without any problem.
It is also Government responsibilities to provide them with social amenities that will help their business to grow and flourish, when their is good social amenities in the country, small scale business will do well and much better than country who is lacking in all those social amenities.
Government should also provide or create access to finance for small scale business in order to help them grow and expan their business. Small scale business should be able to have access to fund or loan at a low interest rate in order to help support their business.
Government policy should also be make to protect and not to discourage the owners of Small scale business in the country. Level of tax should be very low or even exempted for some small scale business.

Government can help the existence of small scale business.

1. Government should provide free education to all children and youths in schools of higher learning. This will reduce unemployment rate as well as improve the economy.

2. Government should provide free healthcare to all citizens and foreigners within its territory. This will reduce the cost of healthcare services and increase the productivity of employees.

3. Government should provide affordable housing facilities for all citizens, especially those who are poor and cannot afford to buy a house or rent a house at affordable rates. This will reduce poverty rate within the country and improve the economy by increasing consumption expenditure.

4. Government should provide basic amenities such as electricity, water supply, sewerage system etc., at subsidized prices (or even free) so that people do not have to spend much on these services; this will increase their savings which they can use for other purposes like investment in businesses or consumption expenditure etc., thus improving GDP per capita in the long run; it may also lead to increased productivity because employees will be more productive if they have access to basic amenities at lower costs (as compared to working in factories without such amenities).
