Apart from making sure that business goals and objectives are achieved as expected and planned, and apart from making sure of analysing future expectations of the business organisation, a business manager also plays a very important role in motivating his or her employees and to make sure that they do better in performing their organisational responsibilities and duties. There is literally no business manager that will want to harbor sluggish and irresponsible employees who are so ineffective in carrying out their day-to-day organisational responsibilities pertaining to the achievement of organisational goals and objectives. Below are two ways you can motivate your employees as a business manager:

* Giving them space to express themselves: most employees develop an attitude of self-closure to what their employers, as a result of the employer being too proud and never giving them a space or chance to express themselves, which is absolutely not good. A business manager should be approachable and understanding, and for you to understand your employees you must give them the chance to express themselves. This can also serve as a channel to motivate them.

* Commend them: the power of commendation and congratulation to someone who deserves it can totally instill in that individual the ability and possibility to do more better. Same is also applied in a business organisation, a business manager shouldn't hesitate to allocate commendations to an employee who performs effectively on a particular task assigned to him or her. That can truly go a long way in motivating him or her to keep doing his or her best. For more practical commendations such diligent employee can be rewarded with special privileges like promotion, salary or wages increase, and various business benefits in kinds.
