Linkedin platform is designed for the professionals who want to enagage with like minded people.
People post jobs there. People can easily optimize their profiles including the profile picture, the cover photo, the experience section, the education section, the certificate section, and can make professional posts to optimize their profile to attract potential people.
Their is job section separately too on the linkeidn platform but also there is the potential to apply separately on ads/posts visible to the job seekers by the HR team of respective industry, etc.
It is also nice to connect with the people of the same industry who can guide you related to your profession.
Like once I talked with the person who was doing a job in the lab of the hospital where I wanted to drop my CV. I asked that person to guide me and he was kind enough to not only provide me the guidance but also he printed my CV and submitted it into the HR team. He also provided me with potential other opportunities where I can apply.
Linkedin also serve as a platform to connect with the international audience and grow your business internationally with them.
It is also used by students to search for scholarships, fellowships and internship programs of national and international level.
