The advantage and merits for businesses to use digital medium of marketing is totally inexhaustibly mentioned and that is because the use of digital marketing in business has totally impacted the every existence of most businesses. Digital marketing is a very complicated and dynamic field. It requires constant research, monitoring and analyzing to improve the effectiveness of your digital marketing campaign. Digital marketing is highly competitive. In order to stay ahead of the competition, you have to constantly be on top of the latest developments in this field and implement new strategies that will help you win more customers.

Another problem is that digital marketing has the same problem as any other form of marketing. The only difference is that it’s digital and you can reach millions of people instantly.

Another problem is that there is no standard for what makes an effective digital marketing campaign. It could be anything from writing a blog post to emailing your customers about a new product release or even just posting something on Facebook.

When it comes to digital marketing, there are many different approaches and tactics that can be used to reach your audience and get them to engage with your brand. It all depends on what works best for your business at this point in time.
 
One of the problems one will encounter with digital marketing is the competition. You will have to compete with everyone who is also advertising a business online at the same time for people's attention. Even though advertisers have figured out how to show only relevant ads to users, the competition is no less.

Another thing is that you have to get your ads right as well as targeting. A simple ads would need to have the right wording, pictures, call to action and follow up sequence to convert audiences into customers. These ads can be really expensive for some niches and you can't afford to lose money experimenting.

Still, digital marketing is more efficient than the traditional advertising techniques used. It can also cost less or even be done for free.
