Depression will surely creeps in especially when the stress is too much and the returns are too low. People always feel dejected when their output doesn't match the input. There is no body that will like being underrated x frustrated and living unfulfilled lives where common and necessary things can not be afforded.

The first thing I do to avoid depression is to find the source of the frustration. If it is work, how? Am I feeling cheated? Am I being overloaded? Am I being neglected at work place by my peers? The approach I will use in tackling the depression will be based on the cause of that depression.

I do listen to music that will enliven me. But most time, the music is always an alternative if the cause of the depression is betrayal from friends or family. I have many sad songs that let me empathise the singer.

Most times, I go out for recreational activities. I do go to lonely place to observe nature. I can go to mountain, rivers or even some hills to write poems on my feeling to our out my minds on black and white.


Sleep is my last resort. It is a natural healer.
