I was reading a book titled built to last by Jim Collins. The book teaches about some of the criterias needed in order to build a successful business that will span across the globe.
In fact it is a good book for every enterpreneur out there. In the book these are some of the things I deducted that's differentiate successful businesses from the rest.
Direction
Successful business have direction which they are following to the greatness. Everyone who works in the business understand the direction with which the company is going. This is often referred to as mission and vision of a company.
Big Goal
Successful business usually chase bigger goal. They strive hard to achieve bigger turnover than the previous years. those who are the helms of affairs of the company know how to motivate people to achieve the overall for the business.
Strong marketing
Successful businesses invest a lot in marketing because they know that a business will keep going if he continued to attract new customers and retain the existing ones.
Financial savvy
Financial savvy is very essential when building a successful business. A successful business know how to acquire profitability business to expand it's network.
Give back to the community
Successful business know how to give back to the community. The engage in projects that will benefit the life of the people around them.
