You should also learn to prioritize your tasks, if a task seems overwhelming, break it down into smaller, more manageable chunks. It's much easier to tackle a bunch of baby steps than to stare down the barrel of one giant leap.

And keep in mind that stuff happens. computers crash. power outages occur. And your boss suddenly decides she wants that report by tomorrow morning. always have a backup plan in place, and be ready to pivot at a moment's notice, if there is any need for that, and if you are constanly plagued with tight deadlines most of the times, you have to look at your todo lists and do a makeover.
