Using generic medications as against the norm of using brand name drugs is really a lifesaver for those who want to cut down on medical expenses, especially if the brand name drugs have to be imported, which makes the price to be as much as 10x higher.

Prevention is better than cure and I've saved so much on medical bills of my family with this. Eat healthy, maintain a clean environment, avoid mosquito bites especially in developing countries.

I am also considering going for a low tier insurance I can pay for monthly, since my employer offers none. This will help me save on medical bills that may arise suddenly.
