The big corporations here especially the multinational companies are generous with the sick and vacation leaves of their employees. The standard days is 15 days per year both for sick and vacation. That means you can freely take the 15 days of vacation with pay. For the sick leave you can be paid in cash if there are unused sick leaves. Some companies also convert to cash the unused vacation leaves but many companies are now forcing their employees to use their vacation leaves otherwise it will be forfeited.
